What are the units of surface magnetic flux density?

The units of surface magnetic flux density (surface magnetic induction intensity) are as follows:

1. Gauss (Gs)

It is a commonly used unit of magnetic induction intensity in the centimeter-gram-second system (CGS system). In some older documents or when measuring small magnetic field intensities, the unit of Gauss is often used.

2. Tesla (T)

It is the unit of magnetic induction intensity in the International System of Units (SI system). One Tesla is equal to 10,000 Gauss. In modern scientific research and engineering technology, the unit of Tesla is more often used to describe magnetic field intensities, especially in situations involving strong magnetic fields. For example, the magnetic field intensity in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment is generally expressed in Tesla.
